Muscular Dystrophy Association

MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.

MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive medical and support services, and far-reaching professional and public health education. With national headquarters in Tucson, MDA has more than 200 offices across the country, sponsors some 200 hospital-affiliated clinics and supports more than 330 research projects around the world.

Why We Support the MDA
We have close family friends whose lives are affected by a child with Spinal muscular atrophy. Spinal muscular atrophy is a group of inherited diseases that cause progressive muscle degeneration and weakness, eventually leading to death. It is a terrible disease and we support the MDA in finding a cure.

Our Pledge

At Alt Creative, we give a total of 10% of the final bill of all custom designed web projects to charitable causes. 5% will go to the charity of our clients choosing and the other 5% will go to one of our preferred charities. And that’s not all we are doing for the community and environment.

Community Impact

To date, we’ve given $3,485.25 to charitable causes in Central Texas and we've empowered businesses in the community to give $1,636.13 in conjunction with Alt Creative Projects. In addition, we’ve planted 113 trees so far this year in conjunction with our maintenance and social media programs.
